Miles Overview
The 2015 Transit is Ford's full-size van, the one that replaced the old E-Series for hauling cargo and people. It drives more like a big car than a truck, with a surprisingly smooth ride and steering that's easy to manage in town. You can get it as a cargo van or a passenger wagon, and the high-roof versions let you stand up inside to load gear. The Transit has a solid reputation for holding up well under hard work, though some early models had transmission issues. The SRW Low Roof Van is the entry-level Transit, giving you a bare-bones cargo van with a low roof and a single rear wheel. Its 3.7L V6 makes 275 horsepower and pairs with a six-speed automatic driving the rear wheels, which is adequate for city deliveries but feels strained on the highway. The low roof means you can't stand inside, but it fits under standard parking garages and loading docks.
