Miles Overview
The 2017 F-150 is a full-size pickup that leads the segment in sales and capability, facing the Ram 1500 and Chevrolet Silverado. The aluminum body trims weight, so even the V6 feels eager, and the turbo V6 pulls hard for towing. The ride is composed for a truck, though the Raptor's off-road suspension is firmer on pavement. Cabins are roomy, with a well-laid-out dash and available features like a moonroof and rear outlets. The XL is the base F-150, so you skip the chrome and convenience options of the XLT and Lariat to save money. Its 2.7L V6 makes 325 horsepower and pairs with an automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive, which keeps weight down and gives it a lively feel unladen.
