Miles Overview
The 2017 F-150 is a full-size pickup that leads the segment in sales and capability, facing the Ram 1500 and Chevrolet Silverado. The aluminum body trims weight, so even the V6 feels eager, and the turbo V6 pulls hard for towing. The ride is composed for a truck, though the Raptor's off-road suspension is firmer on pavement. Cabins are roomy, with a well-laid-out dash and available features like a moonroof and rear outlets. Heated and ventilated front seats, real wood trim, and a premium Sony audio system set the Platinum apart from the Lariat below it. The 3.5L I6 pairs with a 10-speed {automatic transmission} and four-wheel drive, giving you strong towing capability and a composed ride on the highway. The Platinum adds a 360-degree camera and adaptive cruise control, which make parking and highway driving easier in a truck this size.
