Miles Overview
The 2017 F-150 is a full-size pickup that leads the segment in sales and capability, facing the Ram 1500 and Chevrolet Silverado. The aluminum body trims weight, so even the V6 feels eager, and the turbo V6 pulls hard for towing. The ride is composed for a truck, though the Raptor's off-road suspension is firmer on pavement. Cabins are roomy, with a well-laid-out dash and available features like a moonroof and rear outlets. The XL is the work-truck choice that skips frills to keep the price down, while the XLT adds more creature comforts. This XL pairs its 3.5L I6 with an automatic transmission and four-wheel drive, giving you strong pulling power when you need to haul. The XL's cabin is straightforward vinyl or cloth with manual adjustments, which is what you'd expect on a truck built for jobs.
