Miles Overview
The 2016 F-150 is Ford's full-size pickup, facing off against the Ram 1500 and Chevrolet Silverado. The aluminum body trims hundreds of pounds, making this F-150 feel lighter and more responsive than its rivals. The cabin offers generous space, with rear seats that flip up to reveal a flat load floor for secure storage. Reliability is generally strong, though a few owners have noted minor electrical gremlins and a door-latch recall. The Platinum sits above the Lariat and King Ranch, adding more leather, wood trim, and standard luxury features. Its 3.5L V6 makes 365 horsepower and pairs with an {automatic transmission} and four-wheel drive, giving you strong towing capability without the thirst of the V8.
