Miles Overview
The 2014 F-150 is Ford's full-size pickup, offered in a wide range of trims from the work-oriented XL to the high-performance SVT Raptor. It competes directly with the Chevrolet Silverado, Ram 1500, and Toyota Tundra in the half-ton truck segment. The F-150 drives with a composed, truck-like feel, and the EcoBoost delivers punchy acceleration for a pickup. Cabins are roomy, with available four full doors and folding rear seats that make the interior versatile for passengers and cargo. Owners often report strong reliability, though some mention minor gremlins like window switch issues or driveline clunks. Stepping up to the Lariat gets you leather upholstery, power-adjustable pedals, and a more premium interior than the XLT. This Lariat has the 3.5L V6 making 365 horsepower, paired with a six-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive.
