Miles Overview
The 2016 F-150 is Ford's full-size pickup, facing off against the Ram 1500 and Chevrolet Silverado. The aluminum body trims hundreds of pounds, making this F-150 feel lighter and more responsive than its rivals. The cabin offers generous space, with rear seats that flip up to reveal a flat load floor for secure storage. Reliability is generally strong, though a few owners have noted minor electrical gremlins and a door-latch recall. A chrome grille, fog lamps, and the SYNC infotainment system mark the XLT as the step up from the base XL. Its 5.0L V8 makes 386 horsepower and pairs with automatic transmission and four-wheel drive earning an EPA-estimated 13 mpg combined.
