Miles Overview
The F-150 is Ford's full-size pickup, the truck that defines the segment and outsells everything else in America. It drives with a smooth, planted feel, and the steering is light enough for easy maneuvering around town. The SuperCrew cab is genuinely roomy, with rear seats that fold up to reveal secure floor storage. The bed is big enough for a queen mattress, and the tailgate is easy to use, though shorter folks may want a step. The XL is the work-truck trim, so you skip the XLT's chrome and carpet to save money and get a vinyl floor and rubber mats that hose out. Its 4.6L V8 makes 248 horsepower and pairs with a automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive, which is honest power for hauling but won't win stoplight races.
