Miles Overview
The 2019 Ranger is Ford's return to the mid-size pickup segment, a body-on-frame truck that competes with the Toyota Tacoma and Chevrolet Colorado. The ride is composed on pavement, and the cabin stays quiet even at highway speeds, though it's not as plush as some rivals. The crew cab offers room for four adults, but the bed is only available in one length, and the rear seat is a bit tight for tall passengers. The XLT adds power windows, a larger touchscreen, and alloy wheels over the XL, while the Lariat above adds leather and more tech. Its 2.3L pairs with a ten-speed automatic and four-wheel drive, earning 22 mpg combined and pulling with steady torque.
