Miles Overview
The Transit is Ford's full-size van, the one you see as a work truck, a shuttle, or a camper conversion. It drives with a solid, planted feel, and the steering is light enough that you forget you're piloting something this big. The cabin is straightforward and built to work, with durable materials and plenty of storage for tools and gear. With its tall roof and square cargo bay, you can stand up inside and haul sheet goods flat on the floor. The Transit-250 is the middle-duty choice, with a higher GVWR than the 150 for heavier payloads but less capacity than the 350. Its 3.5L V6 makes 310 horsepower and pairs with a automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive, so it pulls strong even when loaded to the roof.
