Miles Overview
The 2024 Ford Transit is the full-size van that handles work duty and passenger hauling, with roof heights and lengths to fit most commercial needs. It squares off against the Ram ProMaster and Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, offering a more car-like driving experience than either. The Transit steers with an easy, car-like feel for a van its size, and the turbo V6 pulls strongly even when loaded. Expect a firm, work-oriented ride that settles down nicely on the highway, with the cabin staying reasonably quiet for a commercial van. Choose from low, medium, or high roofs and multiple lengths to tailor cargo space, and the sliding side door makes loading easy. The High Roof is the tallest option, giving you enough stand-up room to move around inside, while the lower roofs cost less. The 3.5L V6 pairs with a automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive, and the V6 pulls strongly from a stop and holds speed well on grades. With the High Roof you get maximum vertical cargo space, but you'll need to watch for low clearance in parking garages.
