2024 Ford Transit High Roof

The 2024 Ford Transit is the full-size van that handles work duty and passenger hauling, with roof heights and lengths to fit most commercial needs. It squares off against the Ram ProMaster and Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, offering a more car-like driving experience than either. The Transit steers with an easy, car-like feel for a van its size, and the turbo V6 pulls strongly even when loaded. Expect a firm, work-oriented ride that settles down nicely on the highway, with the cabin staying reasonably quiet for a commercial van. Choose from low, medium, or high roofs and multiple lengths to tailor cargo space, and the sliding side door makes loading easy. The High Roof is the tallest version of the Transit, giving you stand-up headroom in the cargo area that the Medium Roof and Low Roof can't match. A 3.5L V6 and automatic transmission send power to the all-wheel drive, which gives you confident traction on wet or uneven job sites. The tall roof does add some wind noise at highway speeds, but the extra interior height is worth it if you regularly work standing up inside the van.
