2016 Ford F-250 Super Duty XL

The F-250 Super Duty is Ford's heavy-duty pickup, the one you step up to when a half-ton just isn't enough for towing or hauling. It drives with the authority you expect from a truck this size, and the steering is direct enough that you always know where the front wheels are pointed. The ride is firm when empty, but that's the trade-off for the payload capacity, and it settles down nicely once you have weight in the bed. Inside, the cabin is roomy and functional, with a straightforward layout that puts the important controls within easy reach. The XL is the work-truck base trim, skipping the chrome and creature comforts of the XLT to keep the price down and the focus on capability. The XL comes with vinyl flooring and manual locks, which means it's easy to clean and simple to maintain, but you'll want to check for the optional trailer tow package if you plan to use its full capacity.
