Miles Overview
The 2025 Ford F-250 is a heavy-duty pickup built for serious towing and hauling, slotting above the F-150 in Ford's truck lineup. It competes with the Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD and Ram 2500 in the heavy-duty segment. The F-250 drives with the authority expected of a heavy-duty truck, though its size and weight are always apparent. Expect a firm, truck-like ride when unloaded; that stiffness is the trade-off for its substantial payload capacity. The cabin is spacious and functional, with available leather upholstery and a large touchscreen on higher trims. Stepping up to the XL gives you the heavy-duty powertrain and work-ready features that make the F-250 a true workhorse, with fewer frills than the XLT or Lariat. The 6.7L V8 and automatic transmission paired with four-wheel drive give this truck the muscle for serious towing, though fuel economy is predictably heavy-duty.
