Miles Overview
The F-350 Super Duty is Ford's heavy-duty pickup, built for serious towing and hauling work. It drives like a much smaller truck than its size suggests, with a commanding view and a surprisingly manageable ride. The cabin is roomy and well built, with comfortable seats and a straightforward layout that's easy to live with daily. You can get it as a regular, extended, or crew cab, and the bed options let you match it to the work you do. The XL is the base work truck, so you skip the chrome and convenience items of the XLT and Lariat to keep the price down. Under the hood is the optional 6.2L V8 gasoline engine, and paired with the six-speed automatic it’s honest and works hard. Ford’s XL comes with vinyl flooring and manual door locks as standard; the ride is firmer than a loaded Lariat but that’s the trade for payload capacity.
