Miles Overview
The 2026 F-250 is Ford's heavy-duty pickup, built for serious towing and hauling work. It competes with the Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD and Ram 2500 in the heavy-duty truck segment. The F-250 drives with the solid, planted feel you expect from a heavy-duty truck, though the ride can be firm when unloaded. Inside, the cabin is roomy and functional, with available leather-trimmed seats and a large touchscreen in higher trims. Cloth seats and the larger Sync 4 touchscreen set the Lariat apart from the XL and XLT trims below it. Under the hood is the 6.8L V8 gas engine driving the rear wheels through a ten-speed automatic, which gives it strong passing power on the highway. The Lariat comes standard with trailer tow mirrors and a trailer brake controller, making it the user-friendly choice if you regularly pull heavy loads.
