Miles Overview
The F-250 Super Duty is Ford's heavy-duty pickup, the one you step up to when a half-ton just isn't enough for towing or hauling. It drives with the authority you expect from a truck this size, and the steering is direct enough that you always know where the front wheels are pointed. The ride is firm when empty, but that's the trade-off for the payload capacity, and it settles down nicely once you have weight in the bed. Inside, the cabin is roomy and functional, with a straightforward layout that puts the important controls within easy reach. The XL is the work-truck trim, so you get a vinyl floor and manual locks instead of carpet and power everything, but the chassis and drivetrain are just as capable as the fancier XLT's. Its 6.2L V8 makes 385 horsepower and pairs with a automatic transmission and four-wheel drive, which gives you confident traction on job sites and in snow without needing to option up.
