Miles Overview
The F-350 Super Duty is Ford's heavy-duty pickup, built for serious towing and hauling that a half-ton truck can't handle. It drives with the commanding presence you'd expect from a heavy-duty truck, and the strong powertrains make light work of big loads. The cabin is roomy and functional, with available leather and upscale touches on higher trims, plus a spacious rear seat in crew cab models. You get a real workhorse here: a tough frame, heavy-duty suspension, and a bed that handles bulky cargo with ease. The XL is the work-truck base of the F-350 lineup, skipping the chrome and convenience features of the XLT and above to keep the price down. Its 6.2L V8 makes 385 horsepower and pairs with a automatic transmission and four-wheel drive, which is enough grunt for heavy trailers and big payloads without stepping up to the diesel. You can still option the XL with the heavy-duty payload package, which adds a thicker rear axle and upgraded springs for even more capacity.
