Miles Overview
This is Ford's heavy-duty pickup, the workhorse of the F-Series lineup for serious towing and hauling jobs. It rides like a truck built for work, with a firm, truck-like feel that you notice over rough pavement. The cabin is roomy and functional, with straightforward controls and plenty of space for passengers and gear. Expect higher fuel costs and pricier maintenance than a half-ton pickup, which is the trade for its capability. The XL is the base trim, so you get a work-ready truck without the frills of the XLT or Lariat. Its 6.7L V8 makes 400 horsepower and pairs with an {automatic transmission} and four-wheel drive, giving you strong pulling power for heavy trailers.
