Miles Overview
The 2017 F-250 Super Duty is a heavy-duty pickup built for serious towing and hauling, slotting above the F-150 in Ford's truck lineup. It takes on the Ram 2500 and Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD in the heavy-duty truck segment. The F-250 drives with the commanding presence you expect from a heavy-duty truck, and the diesel's torque makes towing feel effortless. Expect a firm ride when unladen, which is the trade-off for its substantial payload and towing capability. The cabin is spacious and functional, with available leather upholstery and a large touchscreen infotainment system on higher trims. The Platinum is the top luxury trim, so you get the most leather, wood, and tech without stepping up to a different model. Its 6.2L V8 makes 383 horsepower and pairs with an automatic transmission and four-wheel drive, giving you confident pulling power for heavy trailers.
