Miles Overview
The F-150 Lightning is Ford's electric take on the best-selling truck, and it's the one to cross-shop if you're also considering a Rivian R1T or a Tesla Cybertruck. It drives like a proper F-150, with a smooth, planted feel and quick steering that hides its size, and the low battery weight keeps it stable over bumps. The Lightning keeps the F-150's useful touches, like the frunk that doubles as a lockable cargo box, plus a cabin that's roomy for three adults across the back seat. Every Lightning comes with a big touchscreen and Ford's Co-Pilot360 safety suite, and the Pro Power Onboard system can run tools or appliances right from the truck. The Lariat sits a step below the flagship Platinum, adding leather seats, a larger screen, and the available Max Trailer Tow Package over the XLT. Dual motors and 580 horsepower make this the quickest F-150 ever, and its 320 miles of range lets you make long towing trips without constant charging stops. Only the Lariat and above offer the available Max Trailer Tow Package, bringing a total towing capacity that rivals gas half-tons.
