Miles Overview
The Transit-150 is Ford's lightest-duty full-size van, built for work crews and cargo hauling. The cabin is straightforward and durable, with rubber flooring and vinyl seats that wipe clean easily. You get a huge cargo area with flat load floor and available shelving or partition packages from the factory. The XL is the work-spec Transit-150, with fewer frills than the XLT but a lower starting price for fleet buyers. It comes with a 3.5L V6 making 310 horsepower, paired to a six-speed automatic that keeps things simple and 16 mpg combined. The XL's heavy-duty suspension and standard rubber floor mean it's built to take abuse, not luxury.
