Miles Overview
The Excursion is Ford's biggest SUV, a three-row giant built on a heavy-duty truck frame. It drives like the truck it is, with a commanding view and plenty of muscle for towing. Inside, there's room for up to nine, and the third-row seat folds or comes out for cargo. Owners mention the front-end parts wearing, and the electric window actuators can be finicky. Four-wheel drive and the top Limited trim distinguish this Excursion from the XLT and Eddie Bauer models below it. The 6.0L V8 makes 325 horsepower and 550 lb-ft of torque, and the five-speed automatic handles the heavy work of moving 7,725 pounds.
