Miles Overview
The Expedition is Ford's full-size SUV, the one you pick when you need three rows of seats and serious towing capability. Inside, the cabin is roomy and the seats are comfortable, though the cargo area behind the third row is tight when all seats are up. Owners generally report solid reliability, but a few have dealt with sunroof leaks and power running board issues. The Platinum is the top trim, the one you get when you want the full luxury treatment over the XLT. The 3.5L V6 makes 365 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque, and with rear-wheel drive it's rated at 18 mpg combined. Platinum models get unique 20-inch wheels and a premium leather interior that sets them apart from the rest of the lineup.
