Miles Overview
The Expedition MAX is Ford's largest SUV, a three-row family hauler that stretches the standard Expedition for extra cargo room. It squares off against the Chevrolet Suburban and GMC Yukon XL, offering similar space with a more car-like ride. The turbo V6 pulls strongly from low revs, making the big SUV feel quicker than its size suggests. The ride is composed on the highway, though the long wheelbase means a firm step over sharp bumps. The Active is the entry point for the MAX, skipping the Platinum's leather and upgraded audio to keep the price down.
