Miles Overview
The 2022 Bronco is Ford's dedicated off-roader, a body-on-frame SUV that goes head-to-head with the Jeep Wrangler and the Toyota 4Runner. On pavement the Bronco feels composed and stable, but its real talent shows on trails where the suspension soaks up bumps and the steering stays precise. The ride is firm and truck-like, which is the price of its off-road capability; expect some body motion on rough roads. Inside, the cabin is functional and durable with washable surfaces and plenty of grab handles, though rear seat space is tight for taller passengers. Standard tech includes a touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus available off-road cameras and a trail turn assist. The Base trim gives you the core Bronco experience with the essentials, skipping the luxuries of the Big Bend and Outer Banks. Its 2.3L I4 makes 300 horsepower and pairs with an automatic transmission and four-wheel drive, giving you solid off-road capability right from the start.
