Miles Overview
The 2012 Escape is Ford's compact SUV, competing with the Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV4. It feels nimble in tight spots, and the steering is light enough for easy parking. The ride is composed on the highway, though it can feel a bit busy over rough pavement. The cabin is roomy for a small SUV, with plenty of headroom for tall drivers and a cargo area that expands when you fold the rear seats. The Limited is the top trim, so you get the V6 and leather upholstery without stepping up to a pricier model. With the 3.0L V6 making 240 horsepower and a six-speed automatic, this Escape feels genuinely quick around town and on the highway.
