Miles Overview
The Escape is Ford's compact SUV, a practical choice for city driving and weekend trips. It feels light on its feet around town, and the steering is responsive enough to make parking easy. The cabin offers plenty of storage, and the rear seats fold down to open up a generous cargo area. Some owners have noted electrical gremlins and a few safety recalls, so it's worth checking the service history. The Limited is the top trim and adds leather seats and a nicer interior, but you pay for them. Its 3.0L V6 makes 240 horsepower, and with the six-speed automatic and front-wheel drive, it feels punchy around town while getting 21 mpg combined.
