Miles Overview
The 2015 Transit is Ford's full-size van, the one that replaced the old E-Series for hauling cargo and people. It drives more like a big car than a truck, with a surprisingly smooth ride and steering that's easy to manage in town. You can get it as a cargo van or a passenger wagon, and the high-roof versions let you stand up inside to load gear. The Transit has a solid reputation for holding up well under hard work, though some early models had transmission issues. The SRW Low Roof Van gives up the walk-in height of higher-roof versions, but its lower profile makes it easier to park in standard garages. The 3.7L V6 makes 275 horsepower and pairs with an automatic transmission, delivering 16 mpg combined while sending power to the rear-wheel drive.
