Miles Overview
The Transit is Ford's full-size van, the one you see hauling cargo and people for work fleets and camper conversions alike. It drives like a big van, with a commanding view over traffic and a ride that's more about stability than sportiness. Inside, the cabin is plain and functional, with durable materials and plenty of room for a driver and a passenger. Cargo space is the Transit's reason to exist, with tall roofs and long wheelbases that swallow pallets and shelving. The XLT is the mid-range Transit, adding convenience features over the XL without the cost of the top trims. Its standard 3.7L V6 makes 275 horsepower and pairs with an automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive, giving it solid highway pull and a 16 mpg combined rating.
