Miles Overview
The Transit is Ford's full-size work van, the one you see on job sites and delivery routes everywhere. It drives more like a big SUV than a truck, with a surprisingly car-like feel for something this size. The cabin is simple and functional, with plenty of storage up front and a commanding view over the hood. You get a huge cargo area and a low load floor, so hauling gear or tools is easy. A basic cargo van with vinyl floors and a steel bulkhead, the XL is the no-frills workhorse of the Transit lineup. The 3.5L V6 makes 275 horsepower and pairs with an {automatic transmission}, and with rear-wheel drive it's rated at 16 mpg combined.
