Miles Overview
The F-450 is Ford's heavy-duty pickup, the one you step up to when an F-350 isn't enough. It drives like the big truck it is, with a commanding view and a ride that settles once you've got weight in the bed. The cabin is roomy and built to work, with straightforward controls and plenty of space for crew and gear. Expect fuel bills to be substantial, but that's the price of this much towing and hauling capability. The F-450 sits above the F-350 in Ford's Super Duty lineup, adding a higher GVWR and a standard dual-rear-wheel setup for maximum payload capacity. Its 6.7L V8 makes 440 horsepower and pairs with an automatic transmission and four-wheel drive, giving you the muscle to pull heavy trailers without breaking a sweat. The dual rear wheels are standard on this trim, which means you get extra stability when towing but need to plan for a wider turning radius.
