Miles Overview
The 2026 Ford F-450 is the heavy-duty workhorse of the F-Series lineup, built for serious towing and hauling jobs. It squares off against the Ram 4500 and the Chevrolet Silverado 4500HD in the commercial truck segment. The F-450 steers with the confidence of a truck that knows its job, though the ride is firm when unladen. Inside, the XL trim keeps things functional with cloth seats and a straightforward layout, but the cabin is roomy and well-built. With a bed that swallows cargo and a towing capacity that leads the class, this truck is all about getting work done. The F-450 XL is the base heavy-duty trim, sitting below the XLT and Lariat, and it keeps things simple with vinyl floors and manual air conditioning. Its 6.7L V8 diesel pairs with a ten-speed automatic and four-wheel drive, giving you the torque to pull a gooseneck trailer without breaking a sweat.
