Miles Overview
The F-450 is Ford's heaviest-duty pickup, the one you step up to when a standard truck won't handle the load. It drives like the big commercial truck it is, with a commanding view and steering that takes some muscle at parking-lot speeds. The cabin is straightforward and built to work, with hard-wearing materials and controls that are easy to use with gloves on. Running a truck this size means budget for frequent fuel stops and pricey tires, but it's built for years of hard work. Its 6.7L V8 makes 440 horsepower and pairs with an {automatic transmission}, giving you grunt that starts low in the rev range. Expect a stiff ride when the bed is empty, which is the trade-off for the heavy-duty springs and chassis.
