Miles Overview
The 2019 Transit is Ford's full-size work van, offered in cargo and passenger configurations with multiple roof heights and wheelbases. It competes with the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, Ram ProMaster, and Nissan NV in the commercial van segment. The Transit drives with a solid, planted feel for a large van, and the available all-wheel drive adds confidence in slippery conditions. Cargo space is vast, and the low load floor and wide rear doors make loading and unloading straightforward. Available tech includes Ford's Sync infotainment, a rearview camera, and driver aids like blind-spot monitoring and lane-keeping assist. All-wheel drive availability sets the XLT apart from the rear-drive XL, which is the trim to look for if you need traction in snow or on job sites. Its 3.7L V6 makes 275 horsepower and pairs with the automatic transmission and all-wheel drive, giving the Transit confident pull even when the van is loaded.
