Miles Overview
The 2020 Transit is Ford's full-size van, the one you see hauling everything from plumber's gear to shuttle passengers. It drives smaller than its size suggests, with a tight turning circle that makes city work far less stressful than you'd expect. The ride is firm when empty, but that's the trade for a payload rating that lets you load it up without sagging. Inside, the cabin is built for work, with durable materials and a tall seating position that gives you a commanding view of the road. Stepping up to the XLT from the XL adds more standard equipment like upgraded upholstery and a nicer steering wheel, making it a worthwhile daily driver over the work-spec base van. The XLT's 3.5L V6 makes 310 horsepower and pairs with a ten-speed automatic driving the rear wheels, giving you strong highway merging power even with a full load.
