Miles Overview
The 2004 Thunderbird is Ford's retro-styled convertible, a two-seat cruiser that turns heads wherever it goes. It's smooth and stable on the highway, with a ride that feels more grand tourer than sports car. You get room for two and a small trunk, so pack light for weekend getaways. Owners love the smooth drive, the attention it gets, and how well it holds up even past 200,000 miles. If you want the pure retro experience without extra frills, the Pacific Coast trim delivers the same 3.9L V8 and drop-top style as the base Thunderbird, just with a few less standard features to keep the price down. The Pacific Coast trim's removable hardtop is a nice touch for extending convertible season, though the soft top is manual and takes a bit of practice to latch smoothly.
