Miles Overview
The 2011 Taurus is Ford's full-size sedan, a roomy cruiser that competes with the likes of the Toyota Avalon and Chevrolet Impala. The Taurus feels planted and confident on the highway, with a smooth ride that soaks up bumps well; the SHO trim adds serious punch. Inside, the cabin is spacious and comfortable, with supportive seats and a huge trunk that swallows luggage for road trips. Available tech includes Ford's Sync infotainment, a Sony sound system, and rear-seat climate controls, making long drives more pleasant. The SHO is the range-topping Taurus, trading the Limited's luxury for the performance of a 3.5L V6 with 365 horsepower and standard all-wheel drive. The 3.5L V6 pairs with a six-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, delivering strong acceleration and secure traction in all weather. The SHO's standard sport-tuned suspension is firm but controlled, so expect a taut ride that pays off when you push it.
