Miles Overview
The 2012 Taurus is Ford's full-size sedan, a roomy cruiser that competes with the Toyota Avalon and Chevrolet Impala. The Taurus feels substantial on the road, with a confident, planted ride that soaks up highway miles easily. Inside, the cabin is spacious and comfortable, with generous legroom for tall drivers and a large trunk for road trips. Ford's Sync infotainment system is standard, and higher trims add features like heated leather seats and a sunroof. The 3.5L V6 pairs with a six-speed automatic and all-wheel drive to deliver 365 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque, making the SHO genuinely quick off the line. The SHO's standard sport-tuned suspension firms up the ride noticeably, which is the trade-off for how flat it stays through corners.
