Miles Overview
The 2016 Taurus is Ford's full-size sedan, a roomy four-door that competes with the Chevrolet Impala and Toyota Avalon. The Taurus feels substantial on the highway, with a confident, planted ride that makes long trips easy. Inside, the cabin is spacious with comfortable seats, though the rear windows are small and can feel confining. The SYNC system handles hands-free calling and voice commands, but the interface can feel dated compared to newer rivals. The SHO is the one you buy when a regular Taurus isn't enough; it's the high-performance version that outruns the Limited by a wide margin. The SHO gets a firmer suspension and larger brakes than lesser Tauruses, so it handles its weight better, but expect a stiffer ride around town.
