Miles Overview
The 2011 Taurus is Ford's full-size sedan, a roomy cruiser that competes with the likes of the Toyota Avalon and Chevrolet Impala. The Taurus feels planted and confident on the highway, with a smooth ride that soaks up bumps well; the SHO trim adds serious punch. Inside, the cabin is spacious and comfortable, with supportive seats and a huge trunk that swallows luggage for road trips. Available tech includes Ford's Sync infotainment, a Sony sound system, and rear-seat climate controls, making long drives more pleasant. The Limited sits a step below the fire-breathing SHO but gives up nothing in comfort, adding leather, a power moonroof, and heated seats that the SE and SEL don't offer. Its 3.5L V6 makes 263 horsepower and routes through six-speed automatic, making this all-wheel-drive sedan a confident all-weather highway cruiser that returns 20 mpg combined.
