Miles Overview
The 2016 Taurus is Ford's full-size sedan, a roomy four-door that competes with the Chevrolet Impala and Toyota Avalon. The Taurus feels substantial on the highway, with a confident, planted ride that makes long trips easy. Inside, the cabin is spacious with comfortable seats, though the rear windows are small and can feel confining. The SYNC system handles hands-free calling and voice commands, but the interface can feel dated compared to newer rivals. The SEL gives you the stronger V6 and all-wheel drive for less than the Limited, but you skip leather and some luxury touches. Its 3.5L V6 makes 288 horsepower and sends power through six-speed automatic to all four wheels, so it feels eager off the line and sure-footed in rain or snow.
