Miles Overview
The Taurus is Ford's full-size sedan, the one you cross-shop with the Impala and Charger if you want a big, comfortable cruiser. The Taurus feels heavy and substantial on the road, with a smooth ride that soaks up highway miles easily. The cabin is roomy up front, and the trunk is genuinely huge, but rear-seat space is tighter than the exterior suggests. SYNC with voice control is standard, and higher trims add a touchscreen, navigation, and a Sony sound system. The SEL gives you the smooth 3.5L V6 and all-wheel drive for less than the Limited, but you skip the leather seats and Sony audio. Its 3.5L V6 makes 288 horsepower and pairs with a six-speed automatic, delivering confident passing power and sure-footed traction in rain or snow. The SEL's standard cloth seats are comfortable for long trips, and the cabin stays quiet at highway speeds.
