Miles Overview
The Taurus is Ford's full-size sedan, the one you cross-shop with the Impala and Charger if you want a big, comfortable cruiser. The Taurus feels heavy and substantial on the road, with a smooth ride that soaks up highway miles easily. The cabin is roomy up front, and the trunk is genuinely huge, but rear-seat space is tighter than the exterior suggests. SYNC with voice control is standard, and higher trims add a touchscreen, navigation, and a Sony sound system. The Limited is the luxury-oriented Taurus, with leather and wood trim standard, while the SHO focuses on performance. Its 3.5L V6 makes 288 horsepower and pairs with a six-speed automatic, delivering smooth power and 23 mpg combined on regular fuel.
