Miles Overview
The Taurus is Ford's full-size sedan, a roomy highway cruiser that competes with the Chevrolet Impala and Toyota Avalon. It's happiest on the open road, where the ride stays composed and the steering feels reassuring at speed. The cabin is genuinely spacious up front, with big, cushioned seats and a huge trunk for long trips. Some owners mention the rear seats feel tight for tall passengers, and the small rear windows limit visibility. The Limited is the luxury-focused Taurus, with leather upholstery and more standard features than the SEL, though it shares the same drivetrain choices. This one has the 3.5L V6 making 288 horsepower and 254 lb-ft of torque, paired with a six-speed automatic and front-wheel drive, which gets 21 mpg combined. The Limited can be had with a sunroof and heated rear seats, but the front-wheel-drive setup means you won't get the SHO's all-weather grip.
