Miles Overview
The 2016 Taurus is Ford's full-size sedan, a roomy four-door that competes with the Chevrolet Impala and Toyota Avalon. The Taurus feels substantial on the highway, with a confident, planted ride that makes long trips easy. Inside, the cabin is spacious with comfortable seats, though the rear windows are small and can feel confining. The SYNC system handles hands-free calling and voice commands, but the interface can feel dated compared to newer rivals. Its 3.5L V6 makes 288 horsepower and pairs with a six-speed automatic, giving you confident highway passing and a smooth, uneventful commute. The SE skips leather and the larger touchscreen, so you get cloth seats and a basic audio system, which keeps the price down.
