Miles Overview
The 2003 Mustang is Ford's pony car, a rear-drive coupe or convertible that's all about affordable performance. It's a lively rear-drive car that's genuinely fun to hustle down a back road, with a manual gearbox that makes you feel connected. The cabin is simple and a bit plasticky, but the front seats are comfortable and the stereo options are strong. Owners note the paint can bubble and chip, and the rear seat is cramped, so keep expectations realistic. The GT splits the difference between the V6 and the SVT Cobra, giving you a V8 without the Cobra's jump in price. Its V8 makes 225 horsepower and pairs with a five-speed manual or a four-speed automatic, sending power to rear-wheel drive.
