Miles Overview
The 1993 Mustang is Ford's pony car, offered as a hatchback, convertible, or sedan body style. It's a fun, quick car that feels eager on the road, with a light rear end that can be lively in the snow. The cabin is snug, especially for rear passengers, and the hatch's heavy lid needs strong struts to stay up. Owners find it easy to work on thanks to a roomy engine bay, though some report sagging doors and worn trim over time. The GT is the step up from the LX, trading a thrifty four-cylinder for the 5.0L V8 that makes this car a true muscle car. With 205 horsepower and 275 lb-ft of torque from the 5.0L V8, the GT feels strong off the line, though the five-speed automatic and rear-wheel drive mean you'll see 17 mpg combined.
