Miles Overview
The 1500 is Ram's full-size pickup, the one that goes up against the F-150 and Silverado with a focus on ride comfort and interior space. It drives with a smooth, car-like feel for a truck, and the steering is light enough for easy around-town maneuvering. The coil-spring rear suspension gives it a noticeably smoother ride than leaf-sprung rivals, especially when you're not hauling. Inside, the cabin is roomy and well laid out, and the available crew cab offers generous rear-seat legroom for adults. Stepping up from the SLT, the Sport adds a more aggressive look with body-color trim and a sport-tuned exhaust. The 5.7L V8 with four-wheel drive gives you strong acceleration and the ability to handle rough terrain or snowy roads. The Sport's standard 20-inch wheels and performance-tuned shocks make it feel more planted on pavement, but the ride is firmer over bumps.
