Miles Overview
The 1500 is Ram's full-size pickup, the one that goes up against the F-150 and Silverado with a focus on ride comfort and interior space. It drives with a smooth, car-like feel for a truck, and the steering is light enough for easy around-town maneuvering. The coil-spring rear suspension gives it a noticeably smoother ride than leaf-sprung rivals, especially when you're not hauling. Inside, the cabin is roomy and well laid out, and the available crew cab offers generous rear-seat legroom for adults. The Big Horn is the value-oriented trim that skips the chrome and leather of the Laramie but keeps the key mechanical bits. The 5.7L V8 pairs with an {automatic transmission} and four-wheel drive, giving it strong passing power and all-weather traction that you'll feel the moment you hit loose gravel.
